Dedicated to the memory of Wilfred Lawrence
This site is a tribute to Wilfred Lawrence, who was born on November 15, 1929. He is much loved and will always be remembered. Dearly loved Father of Karen, Martine, Stacey and Josephine.
Wilf retired from the Police Force in 1984 and was a long-time member of the Chesham Light Opera Company, singing the tenor lead in many shows.
Prior to his Police career, Wilf served in the Royal Navy,notably on HMS Concord, the destroyer which escorted HMS Amethyst from the Yangtze River.
He was predeceased by Thelma, his wife of 62 years.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters, their husbands,Leslie, Tim and David, and grandchildren, Jay, Lucy, Georgia and Claudia.
